This is my current 944 turbo.  It's fast!  Real Fast!  Numerous "fast" cars have already been forced to pay homage to this all-mighty 944 turbo.

It's only been run up against one other 944 turbo (very modified as well) so far (Jeff Diccico's car, which used to be George Darlings car), and he too, has been forced to bow down!  Yeah@!!@@$@!$!@@$! BOW DOWN SON!

The photos of the engine parts on the home page are only some of the goodies within this new engine.

The short block is by Huntley Racing.  The install, MAF, hard pipes, exhaust, engine install, etc.. by Speed Force Racing.

The slot car track is what we race when we can't be out driving fast :-)  It's a Carrera 1/24 track with 1/32 cars (approximately 6" long).  The wood that the track is bolted to is 8'x8'.  There's been some heated battles that have lasted until 4:00 am on several occasions!!!  If you have a 1/32 car, and think you're fast... bring it on over!!!  I'm on Santa Clarita California (1/2 hour north of Los Angeles).

SHORT BLOCK DONE BY HUNTLEY RACING at 79.5K miles 5/2002

All other mods below created/installed at 79.5k miles 5/2002

  • RC Engineering 440CC injectors (25% larger than stock)
  • Lindsey Racing Billet Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
  • Bosch 61942 (0580254942-390) High Volume Fuel Pump - Much physically  larger than the factory fuel pump, but still bolts in without modifications.
  • SFR Stage 4 MAF with ARC2 fuel controller
  • SFR 2.5" stainless, mandrel bent, intercooler pipes
  • Turbonetics Godzilla blow-off valve

 

  • SFR Custom Garrett, Stage 3 Ball-Bearing Turbo with T04 housing and 60-1 wheel, ball bearing center section, and a K26/8 hot side with Garrett turbine wheel machined in.  This turbo KICKS LIKE A 2X4 IN YOUR BACK!
  • Tial 46mm Wastegate.
  • Manual boost controller
  • SFR Custom 3" ID stainless steel exhaust.  3" mandrel bent pipe all the way to the turbo.
  • Exhaust has (3) Borla XR-1 race mufflers in series (very quiet for a 3" ID straight through exhaust system)
  • All high pressure hoses utilize "T-Bolt" Hose Clamping System

 

  • New CUP clutch, clutch mater & slave cylinders, and high pressure line
  • Used 1989 Turbo S tranny with LSD w/30k on the trans, and transmission cooler
  • New radiator overflow tank
  • All new hoses, and hose clamps
  • All new grade 8 Allen hardware
  • New water pump, thermostat, and heater valve
  • New oil pressure relief valve
  • New brake master cylinder/booster

 

  • Full set of Autometer Gauges
  • Dual 2 1/16" "A Pillar" Gauge Pod from 9XAuto
  • Huntley Gauge Panel cutout for (3)  2 1/16" gauges
    • Mechanical Oil Pressure
      • custom oil pressure fitting cnc'ed
    • Mechanical Oil Temperature
      • custom oil pan fitting for sensor cnc'ed
    • Electric Water Temperature
    • Mechanical Boost
    • Electrical Air/Fuel Ratio
